About

From a small Irish village to the world’s biggest stages, John has performed, recorded and toured with top international artists. Most recently as bassist for Niall Horan (One Direction) on three world tours, including sell-out shows at Madison Square Garden, The LA Forum, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Ryman Auditorium, The Hollywood Bowl and Wembley Stadium.

John has appeared on Saturday Night Live, AMAs, CMAs, MTV EMAs, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Ellen, The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel, The Graham Norton Show, Jonathan Ross, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Notable live performances also include The Royal Albert Hall livestream watched by over 250,000 viewers and TikTok’s first-ever Live in The Mix, drawing 33.5 million viewers.

A graduate from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, John has performed extensively at International music festivals such as Glastonbury, Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Sziget, The Electric Picnic, Download Festival, Zermatt Unplugged, Montreux Jazz Festival and The Isle of White Festival.

Other collaborations include James Bay, Gabrielle Aplin, Jack Savoretti, Orla Gartland, Hudson Taylor, Ashe, Rebecca Ferguson, Boy George, Patti Smith, Peaches, Julia Michaels, Angus & Julia Stone and Sandi Thom.
